Biodegradable film with high transparency and material permeability.
We handle a "permeable collagen membrane" made of atelocollagen, which has high transparency and material permeability. By seeding cells on both sides of the membrane, it is possible to observe interactions between cells without them mixing. Additionally, when epithelial cells are cultured on this membrane, it allows for the absorption of nutrients and the excretion of metabolic products through the collagen membrane, enabling the cultivation of cells with polarity, similar to in vivo conditions.
